One For the GCNR Club's Onion Donors

For those who donate onions to club outings it is shed many tears while cutting them up for the trip.

This trick is supposed to be a tear free method.

Not tested at time of posting, have only watched this video

As I don't ever eat onions, or as I refer to them "those yucky white things," good chefs don't need to use them. Although I do understand there are those who think they taste good. :grr: Les

Tried cutting an onion using the method in the video, and it works really well.

A bit slower, but worthwhile giving it a go.

Interesting, I never knew it was only the bulb that made you cry but It looks like the guy in the video has the bluntest knife ever, bludgeoning his way through rather than cutting.
