After some years of no contact [last seen at wivenhoe kayak convention] ran into Jeff [old salty] who said he would come to this club outing, if I sent a text message with venue as he has no computer at present .... done so he should appear.

I will also be there approx 0630.

If you don't mind a novice from the south tagging along, would appreciate the opportunity for a few tips.

You will be welcome Rob, just introduce yourself any kayak you see when you arrive.

OK appears we have a minimum of 8 starters for the outing going by replies to date.

Also the MW Kitty is holding sufficient funds for this to be another free snag sanger trip.

I'm so sorry that I responded so late Dodge, I have just been flat out with schoolwork and Anthea working night shift. I hope that I didn't inconvenience you in anyway.
See you Wednesday,
Paul

Although the snag sanger was free being paid from the MW kitty, thanks to both Jeff [old salty] and Rob [robw5390] who made donations to kitty.

For report re today see http://www.kfdu.com.au/forum/viewtopic. ... 74#p416374
Willy Weather nearest tide point Saltwater Creek ....
Low tide 0538 hrs 0.13m ..... High tide 1051 hrs 1.02m
watched the boats on the moorings swing at turn of run in tide from the ramp this morning, it was 0715 ..... so for the future looks like you can add another 2.5 hours to the Saltwater Creek time.
