A change for GCNR Club up the front end.

In January 20111 John [silver19] got the GCNRKFC started and organized the weekend outings thru to mid 2013, when he decided to go travelling all over Australia, and asked for others to take on the planning.

Next to take on the role of planning the outings was Toni [Estuary Girl] and from June 2013 she also guided the club for many great outings, while still at work, she found the shift work at times made her own attendance difficult, and during that period she gave the OK for the monthly mid week club outings to commence.

The contributions by both John and Toni is much appreciated by all members.

Late 2016 Toni also decided that due to many work commitments and another new sport interest, she too would also like to pass on the mantle of organizing to another member, and during the past year weekend activity has stalled.

It is so good to see that Paul [Fleetfeet] is now going to activate the weekend outings again, but that's unlikely until the new year.

On occasion there has been discussion ond other ideas at the mid week outings, so likely there will be changes to the earlier format,

One idea being considered is drop some of the mid week outings and leave that month clear purely for a weekend outing, also a chance to perhaps fish either Saturday or Sunday as suits each individual club member.

Likely there something to look forward ..... a revitalized GCNR group in 2018, but only time will tell, and support of members will be the key.
Cheers RICHO [the older one]
