New Coordinator Position

#1 Post by Troopy67 » Mon Feb 29, 2016 1:23 pm

As of today I am stepping down from the coordinator position. Thanks to all involved that contribute to the club. Can we please have some people to put their hand up and become a coordinator? Send a PM to Haynesy or Tiny Torpedo (not to me as I am no longer a coordinator). Please consider becoming a coordinator and helping out as I'm sure that Haynesy and Ezza will also be looking forward to a break eventually as well.
Thanks

Thanks for everything troops. From organising the hoodies before doing the coordinator role to doing the shirts and not to mention the many trips and adventures you promoted. Of course there will be many more trips .

We are all big people and I really believe we can get by without formal coordinators.

There's a monthly meeting at a set time. Turn up if you care to. You'll have a great time and always be welcome.

There's a sept trip. Turn up and you'll have a great time and will always be welcome.

There's a dec trip. Turn up and you'll have a great time and will always be welcome.

There's the kilts smugglers comps....you get the idea

Promote your own adventure if you dare and you never know who will turn up.

I'll see everyone at the meeting or on a trip when I can make it.

Id have to say al based on my contact with current Shk fishos we'll be fine for a while. It only takes a handful of genuine people to make a good group like we have and we always get the numbers on all the planned trips. The odd meeting can be quiet but that's normal for social groups and clubs as I understand it.

Thanks for the comments Rob, appreciated and also Haynesy. Al, thanks but as has been mentioned the club is fine as was evidenced most recently by the turnout at the K v S challenge that you organised not to mention our Xmas party which also saw a good turnout and the Birthday party last time at Burrill was, to quote Borat, a great success.

So now a big thanks goes out to member Matt (LovesHisFishing) who has kindly accepted the coordinator role. Matt put in a lot of work behind the scenes with Drew (PlasticKing) for the birthday party at Burrill last time and also actively posts up some great fishing photos and reports and is just an all round good bloke. Cheers mate

Thanks for all that you have done and do for the club Troops!

And now..... A BIG WELCOME to Matt!! Nice going man

Well done for all your hard work as Coordinator over the years, Troopy - I know everyone appreciates what it takes to do all that is required to have a successful group.

And Congrats to Matt for stepping up to the plate, taking over!! Well done, mate
