This Thurs 31

#1 Post by dave dudley » Fri Mar 25, 2016 9:29 pm

A high probability I'll be heading to my not so secret spot on Thurs at the crack of dawn if your keen join in. I reckon there is a 100% chance you'll go home with dinner. Stop in at fishing warehouse and get a tube of magic paste for your bait it helps. Post a reply if your in.

Cheers

D

Hi Dave, I (and possibly my teenage son) will tag along. Just like to clarify where is the "sparrow" at Palleranda? What anchor should we take (sand or reef) and how long should be the rope/chain?

Cheers
Wing

Mate sparrows means up at sparrows which means when the birds get up in other words as soon as the suns up I'm on the water about 6 am, as far as an anchor goes I have just one of those collapsible anchors they sell at BCF about 30 mtr of rope is enough with a metre or so of chain doesn't have to be to heavy.

Ok understand it is a matter of when instead of where. Also got a bottle of fish attracting substance from the warehouse and a bag of Coles prawns.

C U there at sparrows. Cheers Wing

How'd you go wing, that was one of my worst day ever. Gerrys big golden was a bonus though.

Nothing happened after you left. We stuck around for about 45 mins.
This is one of our better trips, especially noting Wing Jnr can drift fish. So tagging along your trip will only get better.

The Hornet Air Show is a bonus. The cod taste great too.

(will do the photos tomorrow).

A few photos.
The one on Dave's rod towed him for a distance.
Wing Jnr was proud for catching the cod for dinner.
