Looking at doing a recon for some kayak camping and a fish down the coast on Tues 1 Dec.

Who's up for it?

Bob,

If you stay at the Murramarang caravan park it is a much easier launch, there is a small boat ramp about 100 metres from the park. when we stay there we actually just wheels the outbacks down, its good if the winds are coming from the south/south east as it gives you a bit of shelter when launching, not much you can o to get of the NEer if it blows up. plus you can get a good feel for the conditions from the point out towards Wasp Island from the end of the park. I was heading down to the gong on the 3rd but might be able to get down on the 2nd for a fish with you, I'll let you know.
Dick
Cheers
Dick

The trouble with retirement is you never get a day off ! Fishing is not a sport.....its a way of life !

I wish you were Johnno. You would like what we are going to see, fingers crossed!

It would certainly fill your ambitions for kayak camping, within an Adveanture Island's moderate range (say 50Kms). It's not a trip for paddle yaks within the time restraints.

Maybe next time mate. I'll look forward to you and I discussing future FUP's for a camping and a fish on the southcoast.

"All you gotta do is stop working so hard!"

HEH HEH HEH!

Cheers all the best, Bob.

Looking good, all shopping done and chilled. Looks like there will be a bit of a gathering on Tuesday night of Wetspot Customers……. I shall have to have a fire going I think.
