Let's get the club up and running

Postby beachrod » Wed Sep 21, 2016 8:47 am

Hi everyone.
I am putting it out there to see if there is any interest in moving the club forward.
Both freshwater & salt. The are a lot of keen kayak fishos out here that maybe don't know about the KFDU site, hence
they wouldn't know about this chapter.

So the question is,is there much interest out there to get the club moving forward as I am keen to get things started.
Please respond here or PM me for a chat.

Cheers

Ditto

I work in city and live in Eastwood so it would be difficult for me to make any after work meetings. Weekends sound good.

Hi guys
Thanks for the info on availability.I understand that it is a bit difficult for people to catch up during the week after work.
Suggestions along the lines of maybe we can all meet up for a meet and greet at a cafe somewhere central to everyone from the west/ nth west.We can introduce ourselves and formulate a program with ideas from everyone.

Sounds good. It would be nice if there is a cafe/pub handy to a launch spot somewhere? Salt or fresh does not matter to me .

How about Berowra Waters? There is a cafe next to the boat ramp.

So is four enough to start with? I think the Southern Highlanders started with four.
I'm pretty keen to get into this.
I know I'm a bit far away but a two hour drive to a fishing spot is nothing to me As I drive Buses for a living.
I guess the thing to do is get together.
Over the the next few months i am pretty busy october 20 to 23 i'm fishing Windamere Dam with the Southern Highlanders and the South Coast mob (all welcome to attend, its a blast) Nov 11 heading down to Danjerra with the South Coast mob for the weekend then catching up with a mate for the rest of the week at three mile dam in the snowy's. Dec 22 heading back home to Shakey Isles to surprise the old boy for christmas. :egrin:
Then in first couple weeks of Jan heading to Shellharbour for the Annual beach holiday with the Missus

Nothing really planned yet for the last part of the School Holidays though.
I think i may be able to squease something else in but these are the dates that are occupied.

I am pretty flexible, the joys of being retired :gu: .

I have been fishing Berowra (which is pretty quiet bite wise) & Pittwater (more action). However I am happy to travel further if we have a suitable location. I too am happy to get involved and get this branch active again. Rgds Wayne
