Kurrimine Family Fishing Trip last week

#1 Post by Whisky » Mon Oct 02, 2017 7:16 pm

The weather was great.
Plenty of stripeys and grass emperors. At some locations, the soft plastics were hit on every cast.
However, some boats were not that considerate. They came very close at high speed before pushing their GPS buttons. One of them did not realise the reef was so shallow and hit hard on the hull. Fortunately, no one was hurt and no catastrophic damage. We heard every available swearing words. I wish he learnt a lesson.

Overall it is the best Kurrimine beach trip so far.

Great haul there Whisky.

99% of the boaties up here are really good but those idiots do your head in. I once had a similar experience as some tanked yobs sped past me at close range - not realising the water was coming up to about 30cm deep. They ran aground at good speed. I could also hear the swearing as I paddled straight past :)
