Re: Free Wheeling

It's a great idea.

I would use one if the shape of the stem suited where my kayak motor mount sits.

A bit on the pricey side as well I think.

Re: Angler 3.0 kayak by Lifetime.

With the custom motor mount that is now available the lifetime angler is great for getting around. As desmopete said, there are some drawbacks but if you're starting out and it suits most of your needs then it's a stable fishing platform and has some potential. There may also be a sail/rudder system...

Re: Lifetime Gator?

Sorry, did not recognize the kayaks name at first otherwise I would have sent an earlier response. Most of us know this as the Lifetime or Dragonfly Angler 3.0 from BCF It's a good starting yak. Very stable and dry. Don't bother trying to get anywhere fast as it is slow but if stability is what you ...

Re: Scotty No.388

I use the 388 extensions from gimbal mounts off rear flush mount rod holders. They are perfect for holding rods at a comfortable and easy to access position.

As usual, Scotty quality as well. Got mine from Austin Kayak.

Re: Scotty V's Ram Mount

I have only ever used Scotty gear and can say that I have always been impressed with the quality.

My collection consists of rod holders, extenders, various mounts and a night safety light/flag. All are great.

Only issue is having to get most of it from OS. I usually use Austin Kayak.
