Re: Best 3 metre fishing kayak

If you can find a Hobie Quest 11 they are an awesome 3m kayak. I've had mine for a few years now to fish rivers and estuaries and love it. I'm 6'1" and 95kg and fit it fine.

Re: Shark got away

Bloody hell. Unlucky but very lucky as well mate.

If you don't mind sharing, how was the pain during the attack? From other reports I've read, the people who were bitten (and survived....) didn't feel much pain during the attack.

Very eerie!

Wishing you a full recovery mate.

Re: Small overheads reels

Hi Savit,

Yep need to check Alan Tani online. I've got a couple of the newer (cheaper) Chinese built ones. Only trolling and live baiting off the kayak, no casting.

Cheers

I've been wanting to upgrade the drag on my Penn Jigmaster for a while now. Will do a google search on how to do it.

Nicely done. They fight well don't they!

How do you rate their eating qualities?

Am yet to tangle with one this season.

Are you using a web browser on a PC? If yes try clearing your cache.

I also updated my saved book mark for KFDU from http://www.kfdu.com.au to https://www.kfdu.com.au and having no log out issues.

Coffs coast snapper sesh

A bit of a belated report from the weekend just gone. Decided to chase some inshore snapper with my brother on the Coffs Coast. Alarm went off at 3am and made the drive up from Port Macquarie. On the water by 05:30. Trolled a hard body and cast a 7" soft plastic for a couple of hours for no hits. My...

Anyone looking to sell their Stealth Fisha or Profisha?

Hey guys,

Just putting the feelers out there....

The $$$ can’t quite stretch to a new one so looking to see if anyone is looking to sell either a Fisha 500 or Profisha 525 if they have one? I want to upgrade from my evo 465.

Cheers

What a great fish!

I love my 3-6kg Trion rod, they are awesome value for the price (mine was around $60).

Well done

Re: Magnetic Transducer Mounts

I don’t use a magnetic mount but mount it externally on a length of flat bendable aluminium. Rate it. Currently attached via Velcro but have seen a better system utilising one of the universal go pro style mounts allowing the flat bar to flip up and out of the way when launching etc.
