Yeah, good effort and nice fish. Pity about the dip, though! Easy enough to do sometimes.
Thanks mate. Yeah caught me by surprise but had to happen eventually. I proved I can re-enter so I guess that’s a positive. Will work harder to avoid it lol

Re: Bream on a Blade

Good job, took me years to get a Bream on a Blade. Oddly thats what they were made for. I caught Whiting, Ludderick, flathead but Bream mostly eluded me. Got a few since then but still not many. Cheers mate. Yeah I’ve been lure fishing for a little while with very limited success, pretty happy that...

Bream on a Blade

Hi again! So, haven't had much of a chance to tak the Yak out for a while so I made a solid effort to get out over the weekend while the weather was good. Was pretty misty & rather calm so off we headed to find some fish. Started off with a little excitement as I managed to have an unintentional swi...

Re: First fish!

Congratulations Mjaydee. It can take a while to get used to soft plastic fishing. Keep at it, you'll get better and better! I chop and change a lot between hard and soft plastics these days depending how I feel. Thanks mate, I've collected some small HB's that I'm yet to have any success on but kee...

Re: First fish!

Well done mate, hopefully the first of many. My first of the yak was a flat tie too, I had been casting a metal slug around for ages with no takes I had given up and was having a dig through a lure box to see if I had anything else to tie on and a flattie took it while it was dragging along the bot...

First fish!

4BB4339D-E398-4199-8216-58F958C293F0.jpeg Went out for a quick flick today in the local creek, finally jagged my first fish on a SP as well as out of the kayak! Such a relief to have finally broken through the frustration of coming up with zeros for so long!! So I ended up with a 35cm flatty which ...

I'm interested in some stickers if they're still around? I know the posts on here are pretty old but I thought I'd give it a shot. Cheers

Trolleys are also good for drift chutes and you can move it to alter the angle of kayak while drifting
Thanks! I've never used a drift style anchor, I'm keen to give it a go now that i've got the trolley on. Cheers

All done, ready to test out on the water. Overall it was a pretty straight forward install, however I had to file down some of the existing moulded decking runners cause they were damaged & would get in the way.

Re: Another Anchor Trolley Question

Something like this is handy for stopping trolley from moving, just install on outside edge of hull so its out of way https://www.ronstan.com/marine/product.asp?ProdNo=RF5105 Anchor cleat needs to be a bit more secure, zig zag, or cam cleats are often used That's a great idea, The trolley kit came w...
