Re: Midcoast Outing - Lake St Clair - 13-15th October 2017

Will try and get out for the weekend. I fly fish it regularly on foot so would be interesting in a yak.

Nice fish Roberta.
Long wand and surface poppers sounds like the go there as Noel suggests.

Re: KFDU paddle Gloves

Nigel gloves arrived and fit nicely but...

They do not have the KFDU emblem on them. Mine say KFNSW United on both pairs. Sadly not what I expected or wanted or paid for.

Re: Flyday at Forster (Thursday actually)

Noel the day itself was perfect with little breeze. Got to use the paddle but not the measure. Its going to be a handy tool. Hope your brother liked the flies. It was a good learning experience. I spoke to a saltwater fly fishing geru over the weekend about the number of hits without hookup and he pu...

Flyday at Forster (Thursday actually)

IPhones have multiple uses, some practical such as the alarm to wake you to go fishing. Leaving my dream of landing a 45cm Bass I eagerly jumped out of bed looking forward to the day ahead. I had arranged to meet Roberta at X spot (hot hot she said) in the Forster locality for a day chasing Bream on...

Had a few health issues over the past few years (Melanoma, smashed knee, lost tip of finger, sciatic nerve, tore both rotor cuffs) which set me back a bit but fully recovered so to speak and enjoying my fishing again. I mostly fly fish but enjoy spinning with my g...
