Fishing definitely allowed in NSW and QLD as its passive exercise but VIC are really cracking down on people going out. I had some problems with the latest forum upgrade, my old shortcut would get me to the forum but wouldn't remember my login, saved a new shortcut and all was good.

My yaks a sit in but I find it's a bit like riding a bike, you need to lean into the turn a bit. For sharp, very low speed turns sometimes you need to reverse your speed controller

I not sure they do guns however Wilderness Sea and Ski at Liverpool have diving gear you just need to head upstairs, also Woodville Rd at Guildford, used to be a tackle store now a Spearfishing place.

September a bit of a quite time for Sydney fishing at least on the south side, if you driving south maybe consider stopping at Jervis Bay Kayak and Paddlesports, their on Facebook if your interested.

I like the look of the latest Garmins for my boat however they draw a lot more current than the previous models, even the Hook 2 7'' draws a full amp so the size of your battery becomes a consideration.

I have purchased Watersnake parts that weren't on the schematic from Anglers Central, send them an email and I'm sure they will help out. Maybe buy a spare spring as it seems strange one side would wear out.
