Re: Paddle...is dear better..?

Some great advice here. No longer have a paddle fishing yak (2015 Revo), but I do race and paddle surf skis and LR multisport racing kayaks in offshore and marathon events. Sometimes I can be paddling for several hours straight. Learned a long time ago that a comfortable and adjustable light weight ...

Re: NSWSCKF Next Fishing Comp 13th Sept

Got an ultramarathon paddling race on the Myall River at Tea Gardens on Saturday 12th.

Depends on how I feel Sunday morning whether or not I will make it...! :blah:

Re: Jerrara dam no longer

and true, was Kiama water supply managed by the state, handed over to council when pipes were est. and pulled down as it was costing a bomb to maintain due to dam wall deficiency. Small population downstream (perhaps 10 houses) built stupidly close to the water course and will just empty out on to ...

Re: Shellharbour

Stay clear of the Tigers!! Hi cardo, I've probably fished there a handful of times over the last couple of years with not much luck. If you crack the code let me know! I'm sure some of the more successful lads will give you a few tips. Those Bass Point Tigers only have a liking for "butts" if you g...

Re: NSWSCKF Monthly Fishing Comp - CANCELLED

Was going to go for a fish on the Minnamurra this morning but decided to do a quick (1.5 hour) entrance to freeway and return paddle on the surfski instead. Few mullet jumping, couple of small schools of trevally and the odd luderick darting in and out of the weed beds as it was the bottom of the ti...

Re: Minnamurra to Catch my Feed

Nice haul Wil. Funny how we all overlook the blinding obvious ref bread. Couple of old Breamers I have met over the years swear by the stuff too. My trick with bread is to add some flour and water to it to make a thick dough that you can shape around the hook and shank. Stays on reasonably well and ...

Re: hobie revo 11 vs 13?

Recently acquired a 2015 Revo 13 after owning a 2013 Outback and a 2012 Adventure Island. Though I have only used it on a couple of occasions it is shaping up to be the best fishing yak I have owned. Recently installed a sidekick / ama kit and am using the sail I had with my Outback. A mate has the...

Re: Adventure Island and i-Comfort seat?

Got a brand new BCF Blueline Blue and White "Skipper" type seat that I did not install on my old AI.

Anyone interested in it PM me. $75... cheap as.

Reason you get a wet bum is that the older AI seat is below the waterline.

Re: Rack and Roll

Have a Rhino side loader. Found this to be an excellent buy and perfect for loading the AI onto the roof racks. The telescopic bar that gives additional support between the rack arm and the ground is what sold me. Now that I have a 2015 Rev 13 I just use my K-Rack suction pad loader to load it and l...
