Re: Does anyone tow their kayak behind a bike

I haven't done it but did experience a wheel drop off the axle while walking (Hobie beach wheels). Same side, three times! There was no damage but the extra speed behind a bike may cause a problem if a wheel drops off. So, make sure your cart wheels lock on well and are secure.

Re: Replacing Bail Arm spring

A search of YouTube may help. You may not find the same model. All you need is one that works the same way. Maybe this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7mwrlN2xd0 You should be able to find the schematic on the Daiwa website. Search for your model number https://www.daiwa.com/us/service/manuals/ind...

Re: Helloo anyone still here?

Haven't been to this site in a long time as my computer was warning me of a security threat. Buj (I think) fixed it back in August. If it was Buj, thanks Buj. A check reveals he certificate will expire again in 29 days. https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.kfdu.com.au The warnin...

Re: Botany Bay at risk

The location makes business sense in terms of sites having reasonable access to city and airport. The leaflet https://saveyarrabay.files.wordpress.com/2019/10/project_update_1_october2019.pdf said to have been delivered to residents shows they plan to build of Prince of Wales drive, which is an area...

Re: Woolaware bay nice flatty on a bream lure

I've had trouble accessing the site for a few months now. The shortcut I had was no longer working. I tried Googling and clicking the main link but that also didn't work. Only way I could get around it was by clicking on the 'main' forum section link directly which has now finally worked. I suspect...

We all started there. Maybe some images will help. 1) Take your photos 2) Upload your photos one-at-a-time to https://postimages.org/ You don't need to join. When you upload, Postimages will give you a number of options. Two choices that work in a phpbb forum: a) Copy the 'Direct link' shortcut When you compose (or edit) your message, click the moun...

Re: Woolaware bay nice flatty on a bream lure

Thanks Steve. It wouldn't play in I.E. but was fine on Firefox. Also, the old problem of getting logged out when hitting 'reply' or changing to look at topics is recurring, along with the warning re the security certificate for the site having expired. :grr: The upgrade of software and the move to ...

Re: Woolaware bay nice flatty on a bream lure

Good work Westie. I was beginning to think that the site was broken down, as no reports for ages. The video link is not working for me though. Embedding videos hasn't worked properly since the site was changed to https. You can work around it but the easy way it to follow the URL. In case you don't...

Re: Un-secure login

Both Chrome and my anti-virus are going off. A check of the security certificate indicates it is expired: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=https://www.kfdu.com.au That being the case, you will continue to get error messages until the admins renew the certificate. Meanwhile, don't...

HTTPS link not displaying embedded video

Here's a test video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADSXNYtL-54 If you see the video below you are using non-secure access (i.e. http://www.kfdu.com.au instead of HTTPS://www.kfdu.com.au) If you see a lot of white space, the embedded image is not displaying becuause you are using https and KFDU is s...
