Re: Fishing focused kayaks.

We have a Kayak Demo day on Saturday 24/9/2016 at the Jindalee boat ramp and you can come and try the Viking range. We will have the 45, 400 and Reload there to paddle and offer 6 month interest free finance if you are interested. Clearly I'm pretty biased towards Viking as I sell them but another b...

Re: Favourite Lures and Rod setups for Bass

Bass are heaps of fun! I used to mainly target Threadfin Salmon and Sharks in the Brisbane river on my kayak but then I stumbled upon heaps of Bass and I would say that on a pound-for-pound basis they are one of the hardest hitting fish out there! A 50cm Bass would pull a 50cm Yellowbelly/Cod/Bream ...

Re: Jigging Rod

Jigging rods and jigs in general get a bit addictive.. I'm just about to spool up a reel with 4lb fc to use on 1.6m spinning jig rod to cast tiny jigs and some sinking minnows. The rods take a bit of getting used to and also learning to trust that they won't break, but after that.... unreal fun!!

Re: Up coming trip to Yamba

don't leave the kayak!!! The Clarence river in between Palmer's Island and Yamba is a wonderful place to fish off a kayak. Take the kayak as you will regret not having it as soon as you get close to Yamba and look out the window at the sand flats

Re: Placement of singles on lures.

with my Bream size blades I use either small double hooks facing up and no belly hook or assist hooks on the rear. I don't use blades on Bass so I can't comment on that. Just put assist hooks on everything and you'll be right I've been thinking about doing this. I'm so sick of trebles. They are ann...
