Re: Another Anchor Trolley Question

Great, thanks for the ideas, I'm fitting the trolley tomorrow so I'll see how I go, I've seen people use the same cleat for the trolley & the anchor line, I guess it's a little bit of trial & error to see what suits my style & capability. As you've said, it's rare to have to jettison ur anchor line,...

Another Anchor Trolley Question

Hi there, I've just bought one of those ebay Anchor Trolley Kits & am ready to install, I was just wondering if it's necessary to secure the trolley rope to the cleat once the anchor is deployed? I've searched through the forum & have seen some use the cleats for the anchor only & some use for the t...

Re: New comer to yak fishing

G'day, always good to see another Central Coast Yakker! I've only recently gotten involved & have a cheapish 2 seater which I take my kids out on whilst I try & catch some fish around the Brisbane Water. Like the previous poster said, You can spend a million bucks quite easily on gear & bits & piece...

Re: Shimano Solstace 2500 Spin Combo - CAT702

Anyways, I went to BCF today & picked up an Abu Garcia Revo 2-5kg rod, half price at $49 & a Sienna 2500 reel. Pretty happy with the setup for $120. Seemed to have a lot better feel than the Solstace combo.

Shimano Solstace 2500 Spin Combo - CAT702

Hi there. Just wanted some advice of the Shimano Solstace 2500 Spin Combo, They're currently on sale at my local BCF for $99 or $111 on ebay with the current promo which seems a good deal. I'm just getting back into fishing & not looking to break the bank. I'm looking at chasing some bream, whiting ...

Just wanted to post a massive thank you to ShortyK, He's a really good fella. Went out of his way to help a stranger out, not enough people around like that. I'll be sure to pass on the kindness. Thanks again buddy & it's been a pleasure to have met you.

Not a problem, That would be much appreciated. Nice shark by the way :) Not sure if I'd be game to tackle sharks from my yak, not until I get used to it at least.

Re: Free Plastics/Jig heads & OH reel

Hi there, I'd be interested in the offer if you'd be willing to post them (at my cost). I've recently purchased a 2 seater Australis Kayak (for me & the kids to share) and now getting back into fishing. I went out for the first time with my boy in a local creek but had no luck sadly lol. I'm very ke...
