Adventure Island and i-Comfort seat?

#1 Post by jmc » Tue Jul 07, 2015 10:39 pm

Hi everyone, a question for everyone using an Adventure Island:

Has anyone used a Hobie i-Comfort seat on the Ai? Has this helped to get you out of the bucket of water you have to sit in on the pre- 2015 models?

Thanks, Jim

Sorry never used one. I went straight to the skipper seat.

Hi mate,

Im using one on my revo 13. i-comport wont keep your bottom dry. It only helps for cushion more compy seat. I still get wet sometimes. I imagine AI would be more bumpy ride when sailing so you would get more water from the side when hit by the wave/swell.

Got a brand new BCF Blueline Blue and White "Skipper" type seat that I did not install on my old AI.

Anyone interested in it PM me. $75... cheap as.

Reason you get a wet bum is that the older AI seat is below the waterline.

On a wet day on the water sitting in the bucket of water, even dry pants are not 100% effective.

Try bib & braces wetsuit or a three quarter shorts in neoprene. Haven't seen the shorts around for a while.
