Thanks for posting that Jamie, interesting to see what ideas people come up with to overcome issues they have had. Couple of things there I'll try and remember for future reference.

This is the way I ended up fitting my transducer , forget the internal fitting , to quote the words that lead to this decision " Jamie , the transducers are designed to go in water " end of story really

Very cool concept.

Does the transducer noticeably effect the speed or handling of the kayak? I used to use a 'strap on' rod holder (on the kayak to be clear :smart: ) and the little strap around the hull made quite a different to speed.

Hi mate nice transducer install. That black thing on the starboard side of the Profisha is to secure the front seat strap, if you use a seat.
Cant wait for bluetooth transducers.
