Whoa! Congrats mate that's a keg and a half! Looked like you were attacked by Spider-Man for at least half of the video. I watched some longtail smashing bait off my old mans boat in the straits lately so figured they'd be around. Nice to see one heck of a capture. I'm going to chase some or perhaps macs off Woodgate this week (I heard the macs have got to Hervey Bay lately). Nice work!

Thanks Mate, there have been alot of Macks caught on Fraser lately and a mate got a 143cm one off Moffats beach on the Sunshine Coast. Good luck with your fishing trip hope you hook a couple.

Thanks, Glad you enjoyed the video. I find it hard to get the right balance of the story without making it too long. Yeah I was pumped took a while for that to wear off.

It definitely had some power, You don't realise how fast you are going until you watch it on video.

How cool is that, luv the girlie squeal at the end, and a lesson in staying calm when things go wrong, well done

Haha, funny you mention the squeal I mention that when I posted it on Facebook. Yeah tried to untangle myself at the start but it was too hard so I concentrated on catching the fish until I had a moment to cut the lure free.

Thanks

Thanks Mate, was a quicker catch than I expected. Haven't tried that recipe but might give it ago. I smoked some yesterday that was fantastic.

Did you notice the reel?
