Mary River trip

#1 Post by LAPYAK » Fri Dec 07, 2018 8:58 pm

Hey fellas! long time no post!

Had a run out to the Mary River over the weekend which i have just gotten around to editting and posting. The trip was supposed to just be a chilled paddle with the old girl as a bit of a fun catch up with fish being a possible bonus. However there ended up being a whole lot of bonus. A handful of fish were caught (bass mostly) with a saratoga throwing me right beside the kayak, spangled perch and even a sooty grunter! i managed to strap the camera on for 2 of them and managed to get enough content for a short video.
hope you enjoy, LAPYAK.

Very nice! I have fished a couple of Mary R tribs about 20yrs ago now, when there were fewer fish, and caught some bass. I have never fished the Mary itself. Would this be upstream or downstream of Gympie?
