More No Work Wednesday fun [w/ video]

Had a busy day this week for No Work Wednesday, but still managed a couple of hours on the water. Worked the structure and half an hour in, while sitting adjacent a pylon, I sent a the Z-Man Trick Swimz along the row of pylons and just before it got back to me the lure was hit and took off. I forgot to turn the head camera on when I launched, so missed the whole session but the front camera got it. It was a good fight with one good jump close to the yak. The fight lasted a few minutes, but managed to net a nice 72cm Barra that received a tag and freedom. I then tried working through the edges but couldn't get any more fish. I was off the water again at the two hour mark and back into the jobs for the day.

Hoping to get back to the salt this weekend if the forecast holds. The question is, do I gamble on ocean with no evidence that schools in?

Cheers and happy fishing!

I love no work Wednesday. This week I'm doing a work-related school visit as I have trouble fitting them in on work days. Hope to get out for a quick stoush before school pickup.

It helps when I can see the structure that they like to hang out in. It has always been under water when I've been down there until recently. You can see how dry it is in my other posts and videos by how high the pylons are relative to my seated position! In the 11 years I've been in Rocky, it's the driest I've seen it. It was worse before I came up, but we've had some pretty good times, at least in town. Out west, no so much.

I have whacked a video link on the original post. No head camera, so a quick edit to show off a beautiful and silver fresh water Barra.
