New PB

#1 Post by Mackayak » Sat Jul 29, 2017 6:59 pm

Well decide to go for a fish to see if I could get something for the new comp, had my YUFN and of with high hopes. Had a new real and lure it was quiet so decide to do some trolling to see if I could find a spot they were biting. After about ½ hour my line took of I was on. Felt like a good fish then it woke up and stepped it up a gear. It was staying deep with some big shakes I thought if this is a flatty it was going to be big. Every time I got it close it would take another big run. Finally got it close enough to see it and it was a Jew fish it took me 6 attempts to get it in the net as each time it took off. Finally, in net YES of to the bank to where my fishing partner was just getting ready to get it off and see how long it was 83cm a new PB. No fish for the comp but I am not complaining.
