Used 1 person compact tent wanted

#1 Post by drluvski » Sun May 31, 2015 9:49 pm

Hi. Just thought I'd see if anyone had a 1/2 person tent they wanted to sell. It needs to be pretty light and compact. I'll be using it for overnight trips camping with the yak. Cheers.

If you want one of the best made and most durable (but light, not the lightest) - this is a good buy http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=20303

i have an old ultra light tunnel tent ( Peapod by Ultimate Equipment UK) 'in the back shed which might suit. In it's day (the late 80’s) it was one of the best hiking/biking/backpacking tents available. It's in really good nick and still has lots of life left in it.
I'de really like to see someone get some use out of it, so willing to part with it for just
$20 plus postage. If interested send me a Pm and we can work something out.

Couldn't find much about it on the web as the company has gone out of business but Here's a link to some discussion and a photo - http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin ... startat=40

Kayak fishing isn't a sport. It's much more serious than that.

Wow... 2 extremes there $400 and $20. $400 out of my price range although its looks like an amazing tent and would be perfect. Cheers for the offer Occy on your tent. Have you got an idea of packed size and weight? Looks like a good size if its like the one in the picture.
