Stealth Fisha 460 / 500 or Viking Reload

#1 Post by cygnet864 » Tue Sep 20, 2016 7:44 pm

Hi All,
Am looking at selling the pro angler 14 and buying a Stealth Fisha 460 or 500, or a Viking Reload.
Open to any suggestions or preferences,
Many Thanks,
Richard

Depends where you are looking to use it.

Each has its pros and cons.

Stealths excel offshore.

If you do decide on the Fisha best be quick as there are only a couple left

Test paddle time. That should help you pick the differences and what suites your style.

I think you really need to ask yourself what sort of fishing will you be doing?

If it's offshore or always off the beach and want to paddle a fair distance the stealth is hard not to buy one. These boats are made to do this stuff and can't be passed up, the fisha is an excellent platform to fish from very stable but still a gun in the water and surfs well with the newer rudder over the old evo's.

If you want a more all round kayak to paddle rivers, dams and a little offshore the reload might be better since its plastic and you'll be launching off different places - bumps and knocks won't matter and weed wont be a problem without a rudder.

Best idea is to have one of each :D

The stealth will attract more chicks in bikinis.

Just sayin

come and paddle a reload on Saturday at Jindalee. If you don't like it at least it eliminates one of your choices. They are very different kayaks
