By the way I see the northerly currents Ako, it won't be too long before the big fish arrive in the shallows. Rokkit confirmed that this week on the Goldie, and Montague is going off down here. It really is going to be a great year and we should see some good catches at SWR I reckon.
Still doing prep for the trip.
Just finished doing pairing with my GoPros to the iPad. Damn what an issue!!!!!!!!!!
Look forward to meeting you mate.
Cheers, BobbyB.

I saw a picture of Grant with a marlin from last week, well, a marlin's head, a shark got the rest! Tackle shop is reporting a few cobes around too. If the wind and swell are manageable it's looking promising

Cheers Rlenno, thanks for the intel.
Just upgraded my gopro (battery pacs), the new Railblaza R lock mounts, pre paid toll charges (ggrrrrr), constructed my new Kah Geh Gaff (thanks Rokkit Kit) and a cable lock (for the trolly) so I can leave my trolly locked on the beach without having to go back to the campsite. It's 7.5 metres long so a few trollys (Stealths only, Hobies can be taken on the back of the hull.) can be locked on it for those who are interested. (only got 2 keys though)

Damn, it's blowing a dog off the chain here and the dust storm is thick from the west.

Food shopping on Thursday, freeze all the meat, grease the trailer wheel bearings, and I'm ready to go. Pack Friday night and leave at 0800h on Saturday. Should arrive @ approx 1600h on site 59, same site as 2013.

Looking forward to it, it's been a while.

See you all up there!

BobbyB.

Yeah it's a wicked looking thing, like some weapon from the middle ages. Strangly enough I got it to release any oversized Spanish due to cigettera concerns. I won't be keeping any over 1 metre or so for the table.

Gav, the swell should be ok. Launching is pretty easy there protected from the southerlys.

Due to the full moon the tides should be big, more run more fun.

Leave here at 0800h should be driving through Sydney about 1100h.

See ya Saturday arvo.
