Bass season opener get together.

#1 Post by upto_no_good » Fri Jul 31, 2015 12:05 pm

Just thought I'd put it out there early who would be up for a bass session the first Saturday after the bass season officially opens? I was thinking either the Nepean at Devlin rd or the grose/hawkesbury junction with the option of either river.

Really nobody?
With this bit of rain the bass should be well on their way on their upstream migration. And looking to regain some lost spawning condition.

Phil

I will probably have a fish on the Friday as I have to go to a wedding on the CC on Saturday, would be glad for some company if you are available.

The Grose River is unbelievably cold at the moment, have been down there with the dog and it is so cold it hurts, the Nepean just upstream of the junction is a lot warmer.

I think we can now add trout to the possible capture list. The water level should have dropped enough to be safe enough for a paddle.
