Okay Guys the Club is up and running now so anyone interested in being a part of some offshore jaunts with others and learning what you can from them , from experienced anglers and newcomers to the sport , lets get it organised and happening .

First Trip suggestions welcome , we'll worry about weather closer to the day , and this stage we just need some suggestions for a first trip location and a day .

I'd suggest somewhere but I've only done inner gneerings and been sent packing at Coolum so far. I don't count scarborough or bribie.

Brays, old woman and noosa area are on my personal list.

As per my post in the original club thread, I reckon Brays is probably the pick with the easiest launch for newer members to cope with. I haven't actually done old woman so would be interested at some point. Noosa is nice but lets be realistic, the drive home is a bloody killer.

In regards timing I think I suggested weekend of 19/20th. The following weekend is Easter - people will have family plans no doubt. This weekend would be possible if it suits as well.

That's me out, working that weekend.
Might go to brays this weekend/next week.
Anything to watch out for other than ships?
