Finally went for it getting a Viking 400 from Kayak Central Coast in Gosford. Colin who runs it was great. Went for the 400 as I wanted a longer boat that I could just paddle and also fish. Was initially looking at the white/grey colour but the front was very white and I though red would have less glare. Didn't fancy the other colours.
I had a railblaza mount and fishing rod holder fitted, as well as the anchor running rig. All fitted into captive bolts in the hull. Too easy. It comes with 6 rod holders. Two in front and 4 behind. Good sized storage between legs with incorporated cutting board. No tackle pod but that's not a big deal for me. You can buy as an option. Big area behind seat or chill pod/storage.
Have taken it out at Woy Woy and Berowra. Very stable, quick and tracks beautifully. Don't think I'll need a rudder for estuary fishing.
So far very happy.

Cheers

Nice kayak mate.
I've caught some nice flatties in the bay at Koolewong and some nice bream too down at Berowra waters when I lived in Sydney.
