KFDU has been undergoing a software upgrade for the past few weeks and as such various technical issues were experienced.
The previous database had to be rebuilt/repaired in preparation for the upgrade.
With the help of a phpBB support guru (Robert aka lumpyb) the database was rebuilt successfully.
A massive thanks goes out to Robert for saving the forum for the upgrade.
All previous users/posts/attachments/etc were retained.
I've now installed the new forum software though this will require various tweaks/customisation work over the next couple of weeks.
There will be possibly some downtime experienced whilst I do this. I'll try to keep this minimal and hopefully not press the wrong buttons.
A SSL certificate to make KFDU secure (https://) has also been subscribed to.
